Rainbow at the HUNGEXPO Budapest Fair Center
The Hungexpo Budapest Exhibition Centre “took wings” again on 5th March. At the Travel Fair, we could fly around the world in a day for the 33rd time. Between 5th and 7th March, those wishing to relax had the option to select from the cream of travel offers. This time, for three days, we offered seven exhibitions on 25 thousand square metres, with almost one thousand exhibitors, along with a wide selection of ancillary programmes. Real festive feeling is awaiting the public.
The “Budapest Boat Show” extended with the “Golf Expo” invited the lovers of luxury, while the “II. European Leader Expo” welcomed the lovers of traditions, and the “III. PORT.hu Bringaexpo” awaited those on two wheels, while the “Karaván Szalon” (“Caravan Saloon”) invited those on four wheels for a nice tour in the early spring. The lovers of glitter and precious stones were allured by the “Karát Ékszer Sziget” (“Carat Jewel Island”).
2010 was the “Year of Festivals”, therefore the “TRAVEL” exhibition was hold also in the spirit of this. Guests had been entertained with music and dance performances for three days.
Each day at 3:00 PM, there had been drawing of lots on the D pavilion stage, and with a good answer somebody won the summer holiday .

The “TRAVEL” exhibition was actually a huge “rainbow”. So many countries, so many colours, so many cultures. You could choose from the colourful cavalcade of nations and their offers to your liking. This year, Turkey got special attention, since it took part in the exhibition as the special guest, and as a promising destination, India presented its scenic spots for three days.
We also thought about the ones, who rather stayed here, at home. A large number of Hungarian exhibitors present Hungary’s hidden and already discovered treasures, and Pécs, as the “Cultural capital of Europe” had a special role amongst the exhibitors.
The Budapest Boat Show, the Karaván Szalon and the Golf Expo with 130 exhibitors took 6,400 square metres. The 800 exhibitors of the Utazás-Leader-Karát exhibitions took 13,500 square metres, while the 55 exhibitors of the Bringaexpo welcomed visitors on four and a half thousand square metres.
The programmes on the stands and the stages guaranteed enjoyable pastime for the whole family.
